Developing and Promoting Sport in Malawi since 1974.
The Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) was established by an act of Parliament, Act No 10, of 1974, to provide oversight to the development of all sporting disciplines in Malawi.
The Malawi National Council Act has however extended and specified the mandate of the sporting body corporate on among others; matters of women and sport, professional sport, sport for people with disabilities, recreational sport as well as anti-doping within sport.

NATIONAL YOUTH GAMES REBRANDS TO MALAWI YOUTH GAMES
The Malawi Youth Games, which its inaugural games took place early this year was introduced by MNCS with the aim of revamping school sport.
MNCS CONDUCTS NETBALL COACHING AND UMPIRING COURSE IN MWANZA
The course started on Monday 15 August and finished on Saturday 20 August 2022. 25 females and 14 males took part in the netball developmental level coaching and umpiring training at Mwanza District Council.
TEAM MALAWI RETURNS FROM COMMONWEALTH GAMES
The Team returns home after spending almost 16 days in Birmingham, England.
