Developing and Promoting Sport in Malawi since 1974.
The Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) was established by an act of Parliament, Act No 10, of 1974, to provide oversight to the development of all sporting disciplines in Malawi.
The Malawi National Council Act has however extended and specified the mandate of the sporting body corporate on among others; matters of women and sport, professional sport, sport for people with disabilities, recreational sport as well as anti-doping within sport.

This is the 3rd edition of the Malawi Youth Games. In the last edition CWED were the overall winners of the competition.
QUEENS FACE TONGA FOR SEVENTH AND EIGHTH PLACED MATCH
The result mean the Queens will battle it out against Tonga who lost to South Africa 72 – 46. This will be the second meeting for the teams in three days as the Queens won the previous encounter 56 – 51.

The result mean the Queens still have a chance to finish in the top four if they managed to register a victory against Tonga on Thursday and proceed to the next round of games.
