This fixture marks the Scorchers’ fifth friendly match as they continue to shape their final form in preparation for the final qualifying round of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) against Angola in October.
So far coach Lovemore Fazili’s charges have tested themselves against regional powerhouses twice against Zambia and twice against South Africa. Through these friendly matches the scorches have gained invaluable match fitness and refined tactical strategies.
