MNCS CEO ENGAGES SPORTS ASSOCIATIONS IN THE NORTH

The Chief Executive Officer of the Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS), Dr. Henry Kamata, will meet with representatives from eight sports associations today, December 12, and tomorrow, December 13, 2024, at Illala Crest Lodge in Mzuzu to discuss various issues related to sports development in the country.

Dr. Kamata will engage with representatives from the following sports associations: the BAWO Association of Malawi, the Boxing Association of Malawi, the Badminton Association of Malawi, the Volleyball Association of Malawi, the Pool Association of Malawi, the Wrestling Association of Malawi, and the Cycling Association of Malawi.

The meetings will take place separately, starting with the BAWO Association of Malawi and concluding with the Cycling Association of Malawi. This series of meetings is part of Dr. Kamata’s ongoing efforts to discuss how sports can be professionally managed in the country. Similar meetings have also been conducted in Blantyre and Lilongwe

After the meetings, Dr. Kamata will visit the site allocated to the Cycling Association of Malawi for the construction of its facility to assess the progress made so far.
