MNCS CEO Dr. Kamata Leads Strategic Engagements with Sports Associations

Dr. Henry Kamata, Chief Executive Officer of the Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS), is today leading a high-level strategic engagement meeting with the executive committee of the Hockey Association of Malawi (HAM) at the Kamuzu Institute for Sports in Lilongwe.

The meeting is part of a broader series of consultative sessions between MNCS and various national sports associations, which began on Monday and will run through to Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

As part of today’s agenda, Dr. Kamata is also expected to meet with senior representatives from the Squash Association of Malawi, the Tennis Association of Malawi, and the Malawi Boxing Association.

These discussions mark the first phase of a planned series of strategic engagements for the year, aimed at strengthening collaboration, improving governance, and enhancing the sustainability of sports development in Malawi
