Malawi’s Suhail Zahid Vayani was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance, taking 4 wickets for just 8 runs in his 4 overs. Suhail’s brilliant display with the ball played a crucial role in securing Malawi’s dominant win over Mali.
With this result, Malawi sits second in the standings with 6 points, trailing behind Tanzania, who lead the group with 6 points from three games due to a superior net run rate. Ghana is in third place with 4 points, having won two of their three matches. Cameroon follows in fourth with 2 points after one win and two losses.
