The Malawi Boxing Association (MABA) is set to hold its Elective Annual General Meeting on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Ubuthu Lodge in Salima. Thirty delegates are expected to attend the meeting, which is anticipated to usher in new leadership at MABA.
Participants can look forward to an engaging day that features remarkable boxing demonstrations, insightful presentations including the General Secretary’s report and the Financial Report, as well as vital discussions on proposed amendments to the constitution and strategies for future activities. Delegates will also take part in the elections for key positions, including President, Vice President, General Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer, and committee members.
This meeting not only signifies a turning point for MABA but also aligns with the sports management guidelines set forth by the Malawi National Council of Sports to enhance governance and stimulate sports development across the nation.
