The Malawi Darts National Team is preparing to leave for Eswatini tomorrow to compete in the African Union Sports Council Region 5 Senior Male Darts Championship. The championship will take place from August 26 to September 1, 2024.
The team, comprising 10 players, has been in a training camp for the past week. Joe Zangazanga, President of the Darts Association of Malawi, expressed confidence in the team’s readiness for the regional championship.
“The team’s morale is high, and we strongly believe that we will perform exceptionally well and bring pride to Malawi at this year’s tournament,” Zangazanga stated.
The tournament will include teams from Malawi, South Africa, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Zambia, Angola, and Mozambique.
